Forschungsprojekte

Durch die Multidisziplinarität der Teilnehmer des Forschungsverbundes können Informationssysteme aus vielen unterschiedlichen Perspektiven betrachtet und in Forschungsprojekten bearbeitet werden. Diese behandeln deshalb vor allem Aspekte der Betriebswirtschaftslehre, der Wirtschaftsinformatik, der Informatik und des Computerrechts.Die Praxisorientierung der Forschung wird durch enge Kooperation mit Unternehmen erreicht.

From September 2010 to August 2013, the new joint research project KollaPro will explore innovative strategies for collaborative business process management (BPM) in the services sector. The services sector has experienced a remarkable growth in most advanced economies over the last decades. The performance of service processes is measured in terms of productivity; a concept which is well understood in the context of manufacturing but still seems underdeveloped with regard to services. Here, the need to develop new instruments to manage and improve productivity is evident.
