TextIS - Text Mining for Curriculum Design for Multiple Information Systems Disciplines
The main objectives of this project Text Mining for Curriculum Design is to objectify and automate Curriculum Design by using novel data and text mining techniques. It will be done by deriving a novel semi-automatic, data driven curriculum design process, which is supported by software. In order to assess the proposed process two reference curricula, e.g. one in Data Science and BPM will be designed.

RISE - Propelling Business Process Management by Research & Innovation Staff Exchange
The RISE_BPM project is aimed at networking world-leading research institutions and corporate innovators to develop new horizons for Business Process Management (BPM). The project consortium, besides the University of Münster as the coordinator, includes partners from Australia, South Korea, Brazil, Austria, Spain, the Netherlands, and Liechtenstein.

MASTIS - Establishing Modern Master-level Studies in Information Systems
The main aim of the project is to improve Master Programs in Information Systems according to the needs of the modern society; to bring the universities closer to changes in global labour market and world education sphere; to enable them to stay responsive to employers’ needs; to give students an idea of various job profiles in the Information System domain; to ensure employability throughout graduates’ professional and soft skills. MASTIS will enable the Partner Country & EU Universities to modernize Information System education based on the student-oriented principals, strong university-enterprise cooperation and modern approaches to the education. It will give the Partner Country Universities an opportunity to prepare competitive specialists for Ukrainian, Montenegrin and global labour market.

BPM_ONLINE
Business Process Management (BPM) has evolved into an important topic at universities in Europe and abroad, and it has become an important part of modern management education both at the bachelor and master levels. At the same time, however, many practitioners are nowadays confronted with challenges related to BPM, even though BPM has not been part of their primary and secondary education. In addition, a technology-driven field such as BPM is subject to the rapid changes and innovations in information technology; so even managers who have graduated only recently have a permanent demand to update their knowledge and skillson a continuous, life-long basis.
Therefore, the goal of the BPM_Online project is to establish executive BPM education throughout Europe within a network of leading BPM research institutions. Five major BPM research institutions constitute the consortium of BPM_Online: the University of Liechtenstein, the University of Münster, the VU University Amsterdam, the Copenhagen Business School, and the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien. They will jointly develop a reference curriculum for BPM executive education that can be used by educational institutions across Europe to accelerate BPM education and to foster excellence and innovation in various sectors of economy and society, in particular, industry, banking, administration, education, government and health. EQUAL-IST
The EQUAL-IST project (Gender Equality Plans for Information Sciences and Technology Research Institutions) aims at introducing structural changes to enhance gender equality in Information Sciences and Technology (IST) research institutions. It has been demonstrated that IST is among the research sectors most affected by gender inequalities at all levels. The project aims at supporting seven Research Performing Organisations (RPOs) from Northern, Southern and Central European countries, as well as one CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) country in developing and implementing tailored Gender Equality Plans (GEPs). All RPOs forming the EQUAL-IST project consortium are at a starting stage in setting up of GEPs and they have also ensured the support in GEP implementation from the respective highest management levels.
The project combines gender mainstreaming and positive actions at three main levels:
1. HR practices and management processes,
2. Student services and institutional communication,
3. Research design and delivery.
For addressing and solving issues of horizontal and vertical segregation in research and administrative careers, work-life balance, gender imbalance in student enrolment, and gender neutral/blind approach to IST research, the EQUAL-IST project is aimed at influencing organizational structures, discourses, and behaviours.
In addition, the EQUAL-IST project will promote a participatory approach towards creation of gender equality policies, ensuring at the same time the active dialogue with and involvement of decision makers at the participating RPOs. By setting up a dedicated crowdsourcing online collaborative platform, the project will support the design process of tailored GEPs. The toolkits, guidelines, and methodologies developed during the EQUAL-IST project, as well as lessons learned, will be disseminated in Europe and other CIS countries.

NITIM - Graduate School
NITIM is an international graduate school for research on Networks, Information Technology and Innovation Management. Network members include PhD candidates, alumni, faculty and industry partners in over 10 countries around the world, representing over 20 nationalities. NITIM network members convene physically at bi-annual PhD consortia to support young scholars and connect network members. Members and partners also meet at more regular intervals, at regional learning circles and career development events.
