WWU Münster (IAS)
Institute of Business-to-Business Marketing

Partner Description
Business-to-Business Marketing as well as the use and further development of multivariate data analysis are traditionally the main research areas of the IAS. Aside, the research program is continuously expanded to other interesting current areas of marketing research like Behavioral Pricing and E-Marketing. Parts of the research program are realized with the help of associates from research and industry.
The comprehensive list of publications, which results from previous research and projects, includes the two definitive textbooks "Industriegütermarketing" and "Multivariate Analysemethoden". Other results have been published in more than fifty dissertations and numerous working papers. The high quality of these publications has been documented by several awards.
Research Topics
The orientation of our main research follows primarily our slogan "Understanding Business-to-Business Markets". That way a practically oriented research in the field commercialization of industrial activity, i.e. industrial marketing, is clearly the focus of our research activity. This main research is being flanked by interesting and current research problems of the marketing world. Currently behavioural pricing and e-marketing form two other pillars in the research at the IAS, which are being discussed intensely in the marketing research.
