ERCIS | European Research Center for Information Systems

eHealth

This project aims at mapping and analysing processes in hospitals. The project is carried out jointly between the two ERCIS partners UCD (University College Dublin – CITO - Centre for Innovation, Technology & Organisation) and University of Muenster (Chair for Information Systems and Controlling). It is funded by the Dublin Academic Teaching Hospitals (DATHs) at the University Collegue Dublin (UCD), by the Dublin City University (DCU) and by the Trinity College Dublin (TDC). In a first pilot project, requirements for modelling techniques are identified based on observations. Existing methods are tested against these requirements. Suitable methods will be discussed with the clinicians as well as with management staff of the hospitals involved.
