Creativity as the prerequisite for innovation is an important competitive factor for contemporary organizations. Processes that contain creative tasks differ from conventional business processes in many respects: They involve creative persons, have an extremely high demand for flexibility and are characterized by particular risks. Knowledge is an important factor as there is  a  very close relationship between a person’s knowledge and a person’s capability of being creative. The project “Management of Creativity-Intensive Processes” aims at developing a flexible IT architecture to support creativity-intensive processes in organizations
