Cybercrime and Cybersecurity

Joint project seminar with the University of Twente

In the context of the ERCIS network, the University of Münster and the University of Twente conduct a joint project seminar about "Cybercrime and Cybersecurity". With 52 involved persons in total, 42 from Twente (38 students and 4 supervisors) and 10 from Münster (7 students and 3 supervisors) this project seminar is unlike a typical project seminar and a great possibility for the students to not only work on a specific problem but also in an international context. The kickoff of the student research projects took place on the 25.09.2015 at the ERCIS headquarter and ended with a joint dinner and enough time for networking and socializing. After this kickoff, the next steps for the students are to jointly work on a real cybersecurity research problem.

The results will be presented on 02.11.2015 at a mini-conference in Twente.
