The Department of Digitalization is one of the largest departments in Europe. It is a multi-disciplinary department that embraces theories and methods from the fields of information systems, business administration, computer science, organization studies, political science, economics, sociology, psychology and communication theory. The mission statement of the department is: Co-creating knowledge with enduring consequences through the study of digital interrelationship among people, data and technology.

The natural sciences have been a part of the research teaching at the Charles University since its founding in 1348.

The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics was created by separating a part of the Faculty of Natural Sciences on 1st September 1952. Now, it is composed from three schools: School of Physics, School of Mathematics, and School of Computer Science.

Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna) is reportedly the biggest business school campus in Europe. The Department of Information Systems and Operations at WU Vienna was founded in the course of WU’s organizational restructuring in 2005.  Since then, it has consolidated the know-how and reputation of five highly renowned institutes and 16 professors with distinguished focuses in research and teaching, providing a broad representation of IS research topics.

The BPM (Business Process Management) Group at QUT is one of the largest BPM research groups in the world with impressive academic achievements, significant third-party funded research projects and major industry linkages. We have a vibrant research team consisting of more than 40 members, combining expertise from Business, Information Systems and Computer Science. This internationally unique expertise enables us to approach BPM-related issues in a multi-disciplinary way.
